lead TRAINER / Director
Rachel has a background in professional dance, and it was her interest in both movement of the body, as well as science, that led her to training in Pilates. Always the learner, she initially trained in three different styles/brands of Pilates, seeking more and more knowledge. She now has more than 15 years Pilates teaching experience, with the last six years as a well-renowned Pilates Instructor Trainer.
Rachel is a director or TPL, and owner/director of Summit Pilates Training, and over the years has been a studio owner, clinical practitioner, instructor mentor, and co-founder and presenter for the Perth Pilates Feast. Rachel’s workshops, knowledge and skills are highly sought after.
Rachel has a strong passion for helping instructors develop not only the skills but also the confidence to deliver the best Pilates practices available.
Lead TRAINER / Director
Isaac has a background in
professional ballet both in Australia and Europe. He is a director of Skill-Up
Pilates and co-founder of the Perth Pilates Feast.
Isaac has been teaching Pilates
for 12 years and fuses his love for Pilates into his regular practice as Head Physiotherapist for the West Australian Ballet Company. Where when he when not managing the complex elite athletes, is coordinating their strength and conditioning and Pilates programs. He also has a background in scientific research and is a committee member of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy WA, a member of Australian Society of Performing Arts Healthcare and LGBTIQ+ National research network.
Isaac has a passion for exercise
as medicine and uses Pilates to enhance performance for general populations or
elite athletes and believes in meaningfully connecting the Pilates community.
Student support
With a rich background in corporate management and travel, Alison found her true passion in Pilates, using it as her much-needed downtime amidst her bustling career. When the corporate world no longer felt fulfilling, Alison took a leap of faith and turned her love for Pilates into a full-time endeavour.
Today, Alison thrives as a Pilates instructor, offering a diverse range of classes including Reformer, Matwork, Clinical, Seniors classes, and Functional movement. She also runs a welcoming home studio. In addition to teaching, Alison plays a vital role in our Student Support, guiding and motivating future instructors throughout their Pilates journey. Alison’s commitment to helping
others achieve their best is driven by her empathy and enthusiasm. She delights in seeing students grow and thrive, and her passion for supporting their development is at the heart of everything she
does.
