FAQ's - COMPREHENSIVE COURSE FAQ

I ALREDY KNOW THE STUDIO EQUIPMENT (CADILLAC, CAHIR, BARRELS) CAN I JUST DO THE ADVANCED SCOPE TRAINING? 

Yes! we just require evidence of this qualification before you do this course. You need to have a qualification in these specific apparatus for the Advanced Scope Course as we will be using these apparatus for the practical components of the Advanced Scope training. 

HOW OFTEN ARE THE FACE TO FACE WEEKENDS?

We know you are busy so they are scheduled for once per month! THis allows you plenty of time to digest the material and fill in some observation and practise teaching time.

DO I NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL THE WEEKENDS?

Yes, 100% attendance rate is necessary to pass this course. If you want unable to attend, you must complete a make up session with your trainers to ensure that no content goes missed. Please note, additional make up sessions incur extra fees. See our full terms and conditions for more information.

WHAT IS THE COURSE STRUCTURE?

There is some online theory units to complete and each will correspond with a practical weekend. 

WHY DO THIS SPECIFIC QUALIFICATION?

This course builds on your training for either mat and reformer and allows you to teach on all apparatus with confidence. Additionally it builds on so much more theory of exercise prescription. Graduates of this course may play a role in the ongoing management those with stabilised health conditions, or injuries, and even work along side allied health professionals in a clinical setting. 

IS IT WORTH IT?

Yes! Teaching Pilates is incredibly enriching and rewarding career. It has the ability to impact those individuals and large populations positively. Pilates also fits beautifully into many other careers and can compliment many different lifestyles. Whether you're a university student, returning to the workforce after having kids, trying to escape your 9-to-5, or just need to change, the career in Pilates could be really awesome! 

ARE THERE PRACTICAL HOURS I MUST COMPLETE OUTSIDE OF THE FACE TO FACE TRAINING?

 Yes, for our advanced scope courses there are a combined 20 hours of observation, 30 hours of practice teaching and 30 hours of self mastery prior to graduation. You can start these hours during your course and we will tell you more about this after your first face-to-face session. If you are completing both Comprehensive courses in ur bundle offer, the hours will be split for 40% Studio equipment and 60% for Advanced Scope.
